"…. The land of dreams and romance, of fabulous wealth and fabulous poverty, of splendour and rags, of palaces and hovels, of famine and pestilence, of genii and giants and Aladdin lamps, of tigers and elephants, the cobra and the jungle, the country of hundred nations and a hundred tongues, of a thousand religions and two million gods, cradle of the human race, birthplace of human speech, mother of history, grandmother of legend, great-grandmother of traditions, whose yesterday’s bear date with the modering antiquities for the rest of nations-the one sole country under the sun that is endowed with an imperishable interest for alien prince and alien peasant, for lettered and ignorant, wise and fool, rich and poor, bond and free, the one land that all men desire to see, and having seen once, by even a glimpse, would not give that glimpse for the shows of all the rest of the world combined.” – That is how Mark Twain described India.
A land so ancient and diverse; where the language changes after every hundred miles, and the landscape after every 200 miles. A land where traditions and modern lifestyle co-exist peacefully, where people from multiple religions and ethnicities live together - This is India for you.
You should visit India at least once in your lifetime. No other country in the world can amaze you like she does. The vibrant colours everywhere, the traffic and honking, cows roaming carefree on the streets, faces lit with smiles and the complete chaos – all mix together in a collage of striking contrasts, completely different from anything that you have ever experienced.
Your trip to India will be challenging, yet satisfying; unexpected, yet delightful; heartbreaking yet soul-stirring; with moments up close and personal that will have the power to transform your views of the world and your place in it. One thing is certain: India will not let you return empty-handed. You will leave with an experience of a lifetime, an enriched soul and a vision of a completely different world.
India is simply, incredible.
I just wanted to say, thank you very much for your tour, I really enjoyed it and will be recommending it to my Colleagues when they visit Delhi
I really loved the tour of Kerala. You choice of hotels was really good. It was one of most rejuvenating journeys I ever had. The food was different and interesting!
I wanted to say a big thank you to you for your efforts in providing an excellent value for money trip to Delhi and Agra. We saw so much in such a short time, which was exactly what we wanted out of the experience. Many thanks also for accompanying us on Saturday around Delhi. It was fantastic getting your insight into the MANY sights of Delhi. The tour to Agra, the Taj Mahal and Fatehpur Sikri on Sunday was fantastic too
Thank you for arranging the trip to Rajasthan. The driver was really helpful. Since it was our first time in India, he assisted us very well. I recommend the hotel in Udaipur…lovely place! See you next year!
I travel to India, for personal holidays and work as well. I had used their services before; when traveling with elderly parents, and the accommodation and transport they arranged was fabulous (I was surprised how they could give me such good rates for hotels. This March, I requested them to help me organise my work travel and used them for a personal holiday (also including transport - chauffeur-driven SUV) too. Thank you Sutra Voyages, and specially Subhransu Pal, for not only sparing me the stress of organising holidays (and finalising travel plans) but also making my Indian holidays so comfortable and memorable! :-) It's great to know that I can always fall back on you guys for a fab holiday in India! Your eye to detail, punctuality and immediate intervention to sort out any issues is highly appreciated. Best wishes and big thank you!
