This program covers the highlights of the magical Rajasthan. Discover the various colors and vibrancy along with warm hospitality and fascinating culture. The program begins with your arrival in Delhi, the capital of the country. Next visit Mandawa famous for its hand painted havelis and frescoes .Then reach the royal city of Bikaner. From there visit Jaisalmer, the desert city which has the largest living fort in the world. Visit the forts & palaces of the Marwar region as you travel further to Jodhpur. Then reach Udaipur also known as the city of lakes – one of the most beautiful cities in India. Drive further to Pushkar, the holy city. Continue to Jaipur, a royal city with diverse colors and history brimming monuments and citadels and then continue to Agra, the Mughal city famous for Taj Mahal and other monumental marvels. The tour culminates in Delhi


Day 1: Arrive Delhi

Late evening arrival at New Delhi International Airport. On your arrival you will be met by our representative who will welcome and escort you to your hotel in a chauffeured car. He will hand you our India travel kit that contains all your hotel and transport vouchers, air/rail tickets, a welcome letter and a list of do' s and don't s while travelling in India.

Day 2: In Delhi

Morning after breakfast visit Red Fort (photo - stop) – massive sandstone fort built by Shah Jahan on the banks of river Yamuna. ,Jama Masjid - the largest mosque in India and stands across the road from the Red Fort, built in 1656 by Shahjahan. About 20,000 people can pray here at a time, Rajghat - the cremation ground of Mahatma Gandhi. Afternoon proceed for sightseeing of New Delhi where you visit Qutub Minar- the tower of victory started by Qutub-Ud-Din-Aibak in 1199AD upon becoming sultan of Delhi, India Gate (the war memorial) and Presidents House (From outside).

Day 3: Delhi - Mandawa

After breakfast, drive to Mandawa (235 km / 5hrs). Here you see the frescoed mansions of rich traders of the area who have now moved to metropolitan cities.

Day 4: Mandawa - Bikaner

After breakfast, drive to Bikaner (192km / 4 hrs). Visit Junagarh Fort; which is built on plains unlike all other major forts of Rajasthan, Camel Breeding farm and the famous rat temple at Deshnok.

Day 5: Bikaner - Jaisalmer

Drive to Jaisalmer (355km / 6-7 hrs). See the man made Gadsisar lake (Jaisalmer’s only source of water for a long period) and the royal cenotaphs at Bada Bagh.

Day 6: In Jaisalmer

After breakfast depart for a city tour of Jaisalmer. Explore the Citadel -The Fort built by Rawal Jaisal where a fourth of the population lives. The fort also houses Jain temples of the 12th to 15th centuries, Patwon Ki Haveli- a five storey mansion with carved pillars & murals of Salim Singh. Late afternoon take an excursion to Sam - 45 km away, which is known for its sand dunes & is the venue for the Desert Festival. Get the real feel of the desert by enjoying a camel ride on the sand dunes.

Day 7: Jaisalmer - Jodhpur

After breakfast drive to Jodhpur (285km / 5 hrs). Late afternoon visit the massive Meherangarh Fort, a symbol of the glorious history of the Maharajas of Marwar Kingdom and Jaswant Thada - a white marble memorial built by Sardar Singh in 1899 in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II.

Day 8: Jodhpur - Udaipur

Drive to Udaipur (269km / 5-6 hrs), the city of lakes. En route visit the amazing white marble Jain temples at Ranakpur. Evening will be free for you to explore the city on your own.

Day 9: In Udaipur

After breakfast proceed for a City Tour which includes City Palace (don't miss the awesome crystal gallery), Jagdish temple and the Garden of Maids (it was originally built for the maids of the queen who came along as wedding gifts). In the evening go for a boat ride in Lake Pichola.

Day 10: Udaipur - Pushkar

After breakfast drive to Pushkar (300 km / 6 hrs). En route you may visit the Fort of Chittaurgarh. Pushkar is known for its one of the very rare temples dedicated to Lord Brahma (considered the creator of universe in Hindu mythology).

Day 11: Pushkar - Jaipur

Welcome to the pink city. No sightseeing for the day. Explore the colorful market. You can also experience a cooking demonstration by a chef.

Day 12: In Jaipur

After breakfast proceed for city tour of Jaipur. AMBER FORT PALACE - Amber is the classic example Rajasthani fort palace. Its construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai Singh I. Its forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles of architecture finds its ultimate expression. CITY PALACE - A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the City Palace sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled city. It houses the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum. JANTAR MANTAR - This is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use. HAWA MAHAL - The ornamental facade of this "Palace of Winds" is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. Their five-storey structures of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. The palace has 953 niches and windows. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahal was a royal grandstand for the palace women

Day 13: Jaipur - Agra

After having breakfast leave for Agra covering a distance of 260 kms in approx 6 hours. En-route visit Fatehpur Sikri UNESCO World Heritage Site. The deserted red sandstone city was built by Emperor Akbar as his capital and Palace in the late 16th century. Evening arrive in Agra and check in to your hotel.

Day 14: Agra - Delhi Depart

Early morning proceed for Taj Mahal (Closed on Fridays). Taj Mahal is perhaps the most photographed monument in the world, may you have heard about the Taj Mahal and once you see so many picture of building your expectations are real high Taj Mahal’s glory and beauty of building surpasses beyond all human imaginations. Return to your hotel for breakfast. Depart for Delhi (201Kms / 4 hours). On your arrival in Delhi you will escorted to the airport where you will board the flight for onward journey.
